Happy birthday Partners

Hello Friends!

April 11th marked our 35th anniversary as a nonprofit. However, 1990 was just a waypoint for the journey that began in 1951. After four decades of grassroots service, the community officially planted our nonprofit to ensure that neighborly compassion could continue to gather the support necessary to grow as Spokane grew.

Well, here we are now, an agency that has grown up!

  • We’ve grown in scope to serve more of Spokane’s hungry families than any other food pantry.

  • We’ve grown to be a leading free clothing source, giving nearly 1 ton of clothing each week to children, families, and our friends who live outdoors.

  • We are also very proud that our diaper bank has grown up and is now helping desperate moms and dads (and of course babies) across eastern Washington and northern Idaho (19 counties and growing).

As we blow out the candles, we’re wishing for $75 for 75.  A gift of $75 in honor of our collective service to our neighbors in need for 75 years is a fantastic way to make a huge difference in the lives of many.  This spring we need to raise an additional $75,000 to help more people. Can you help as we launch this effort? The first $10,000 already came in, only $65,000 to go!

Thank you for considering a donation. We are honored to steward this great mission of compassion. Your contribution will help provide hope to our most vulnerable neighbors!

Sincerely,

Dr. Calvin B. Coblentz, CEO
